What is Eyebrow Microblading?

Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes is a form of permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. Two appointments are necessary to first apply base strokes and then to add more dimension. Microblading can be used to add volume to existing brows or to create non-existing brows. The treatment lasts 1 to 3 years with proper care and touch ups can be done yearly.

Why Microblading?

Eyebrows are easily one of the most defining features of the face and have become a focal point of recent beauty trends. Whether you prefer yours thick and bold, or arched and precise, it seems that everyone is obsessed with having their “brow game” on point.

Who is a good Candidate?

Permanently tattooed eyebrows are done to create the look of a fuller brow. A great choice for anyone with sparse eyebrows or even if you have total hair loss due to age or medical conditions.

Microblading vs Permanent Makeup Brows

A new trend that is becoming popular is microblading eyebrows also known as eyebrow embroidery.

Both permanent makeup and microblading are methods of depositing pigment into the skin to achieve

the look of natural, full eyebrows.

Microblading are for those who prefer a more semi-

permanent solution.

While they have this in common, there are many things which define them differently.

The microblading procedure is done by hand with a technician pushing pigment into the skin with a

small razor. The strokes can be very precise, but it requires a great degree of skill to get the

pigment consistently into the correct area of the skin. Because the pigment is only deposited

into the epidermis, the pigment has a shorter lifespan. It can last 1-3 years.
